Privacy
What we do with your data.
The short version: we mainly hold what you send us, we use it to answer you and work out whether there is a fit, and we never sell it. The longer version, plainly, is below.
- WHO
Who is responsible
-
Eastfound Brands is operated by EASTFOUND LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16948217, at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
EASTFOUND LIMITED is the data controller for personal data you send to us through this website, our forms, or by email.
For anything on this page, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to emma@eastfoundbrands.com.
- WHAT WE COLLECT
What we collect
-
We mainly collect what you choose to send us.
That means the intro-call form: your name, email, a link to your work or product, and a line about where and how much it sells. After that, it means whatever you write to us by email.
The form is run by Tally, a form provider based in Belgium. Tally stores form submissions on our behalf and passes them to us. Tally states that it stores form data in Europe, uses appropriate security measures, and offers a data processing agreement.
We may also process basic technical and analytics information when you visit the site, as explained under “Analytics and cookies” below.
We do not build marketing lists from your enquiry, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising. Ever.
- WHY
Why we hold it
-
We use your data to work out whether we are a fit, to arrange an intro call, to reply to your enquiry, and to manage any potential or actual working relationship.
Our lawful basis is:
- For intro-call enquiries and early partnership discussions: steps you ask us to take before entering into a possible contract.
- For business correspondence and follow-up: our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to people who contact us.
- For basic website analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it, without identifying individual visitors.
- WHO ELSE SEES IT
Who we share it with
-
We use a small number of service providers to run the website, manage forms, handle email, and understand basic website traffic. These providers process data for us and are not allowed to use it for their own marketing.
This may include Tally for forms, Cloudflare for website analytics and security, and our email and hosting providers.
Some service providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent protections.
- HOW LONG
How long we keep it
-
If we do not work together, we normally delete or review enquiry data after 12 months.
If we do work together, we keep relevant correspondence and records for as long as needed for the relationship and for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute purposes.
Ask us to delete your data and we will, unless we are required to keep something for legal reasons.
- YOUR RIGHTS
Your rights
-
Under UK GDPR, and where applicable EU GDPR, you can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- delete your data;
- restrict how we use it;
- object to how we use it;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format, where that right applies.
If we ever rely on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Email emma@eastfoundbrands.com and you will get a straight answer.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
- ANALYTICS
Analytics and cookies
-
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages they read. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors or follow them across sites.
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Some strictly necessary technical cookies or similar technologies may be used by our website infrastructure for security, performance, or site operation. These are not used for advertising.
